Diane Nevitt was born in Macclesfield, Cheshire and studied Art and Design at Plymouth College of Art.
Diane started working as a commercial illustrator whilst also painting and drawing local views and historic landmarks. She had a studio in The Barbican in Plymouth and got to know other artists from throughout the South West including Terry Frost, Fred Yates, Derek Holland and Robert Lenkiewicz.
Diane went on to study under Lenkiewicz (Study of Diane Nevitt Painting, Painting, Painting, Painting….Tone of the Tone, Shape of the Shape, Colour of the Colour was painted by Lenkiewicz in 1996).
She has shown Plymouth, London, Cornwall, Bath. Her work is in public and corporate collections including the Government Office for the South West and twofourtv.com
