Pushkar Man lived in something you would be hard pressed to even call a shack! Aitchison was initially drawn to the shack for his photograph when suddenly this man stepped out of it. He was virtually in rags but seemed to enjoy the attention.
If nothing else Pushkar Man had an air of contentment about him which Aitchison found refreshing and in turn envied him for. In a world where having the latest iPhone or the fastest car is the most important element in a lot of peoples’ lives, photographs such as this remind us of what it is to be humble. Pushkar Man’s energy radiates from the portrait and in his own way touches our lives if only for a moment.
