Timothy Hudson:Lord Tim

1940 –

‘Lord’ Tim Hudson (born February 11, 1940, Prestbury, Cheshire), was an English DJ in Los Angeles for KFWB during the 1960s, and was the manager of The Seeds and The Lollipop Shoppe. He accompanied the Beatles on their ground-breaking 1965 North American concert tour, managed England cricketer Ian Botham, became close friends wth John Bellany RA before returning to Palm Springs where he reinvented himself as one of the leading “outsider” artists in the US.  Favouring a bold use of colour and a mix of acrylic and household paint, his canvases celebrate “living and beauty” in a deliberately naive fashion.  He is in a number public galleries in the US and private collectors include Bill Gates and Mel Gibson.
