Anthony McCarthy was born in 1974 in Salford, a city and its changes that still inspire him today. He studied Art and Design and graduated in Art History at Bolton University.
Working alongside The Lowry Collection for 16 years at Salford Quays enabled him to gain a unique insight into L.S Lowry’s individual vision and ethos. He has recently lectured on this subject at the Lowry Hotel.
